The name of a certain graceful attitude in which some statues stand: such as the venugopala or Piping Apollo; or that given to thedvarapalakulu or door keepers carved on each side of a temple gate. It is peculiar to Appa Cavi, and a few other modern writers, but is not mentioned in any ancient or classical poet: nor in any Sanskrit Dictionary, in lists of the “fifty six countries.” See W. Vish. Pur. p. 193. In some modern lists Troilinga is named, but without any authority. trivargamu a collection of three (things) as Duty (dharmamu,) Wealth (arthamu,) and Desire (kamamu) or the Gunas called satvarajastamamulu, or the states called Increase (vrddhi), Decrease (ksayamu), and Stationariness (sthanamu.) trivali tri-vali. n.
