The body, a limb, member, part, division or branch. angavancakamu = upayamu, sahayamu, desakalavibhajanamu, apadaku pratikriya, karyasiddhi. adbhutangulu beings having wondrous forms. astangamulu = the eight forms or stages of meditation, i. e, yamamu, niyamamu, pranayamamu, pratyaharamu, dhyanamu, dharana, mananamu, samadhi. caturangamulu the four divisions of an army, i. e., rathamulu, enugulu, gurramulu, bantulu. pancangamu the Indian calendar giving particulars of each day, as tithi, varamu, naksatramu, yogamu, karanamu. rajyangamulu the various departments of Government. sadangamuluor vedangamulu the six sciences dependent on the Vedas. i. e., siksa, kalpamu, vyakaranamu, niruktamu, jyotisamu, chandassu. saptangamulu = the seven constituents of a Government. svami, amatyudu, suhrttu, kosamu, rastramu, durgamu, balamu. sastanga pranamamu prostrate homage, touching the ground with eight members of the body, i. e., eyes or chest and forehead, hands, knees and feet.
