[Tam.] adj. Dravida; a name usually applied to Tamil. dravida desamu the Tamil country. dravidulu or dravillu the Tamil people. As a collective term pancadravidamulu the ‘Five-fold Dravida’ denotes what the English call the South Indian Languages, i.e., Canarese, Tamil, Telugu, Guzerati and Mahratta.
