Consent, sammati. trimatamulu the three creeds, i.e., the Vaishnava, Madhwa and Smarta creeds. sanmatamulu the six creeds, viz. vaisnavamu, saivamu, saktamu, ganapatamu, sauramu and kapalikamu kadimatamu (in magic) is the mode wherein the alphabet is recited the right way while hodimatamu is reciting the alphabet backwards, the wrong way, beginning with ha which is the last consonant.
